Lived Experience Trainer

Sophie Seinemeier

Sophie (she/her) is a passionate Lived Experience Trainer who first engaged with Finding North in 2024 as a Co-Designer. Her heart loves creating safer spaces where people can be their whole selves, not shying away from complex issues and making meaningful community-driven change.

As an intersectional mental health, human rights and disability advocate, Sophie has worked in grassroots, peer support, research, policy and peer-led training spaces. She is driven by her own lived experience, her connection to our collective movement, and her determination to show peer values in action.

In 2026, Sophie joined MIFA to facilitate the Rights in Action training programs. Emphasising the importance of welcoming and supporting all peers in an accessible way at every stage of their journey.

Sophie is privileged to work on Noongar boodja (WA).
