Delivering next level advocacy

Mental Illness Fellowship will lead an alliance of sector partners, lived experienced leaders, and mental health stakeholders to amplify the voice of lived experience with ever greater strength.

Bringing together over 30 organisations  to collaborate on a national campaign and deliver a united message to all governments in all jurisdictions about how to address the gap in psychosocial supports.

Finding North

Designed by people with a lived experience, the website focuses on inspiring people living with mental health conditions including their families and carers, to navigate a complex mental health system so people can find their next step.

Finding North Network

MIFA has developed a National Lived Experience Community Network that connects people with lived experience of mental health conditions through an online, easy to access, social platform.

This platform allows Network members to share their stories, attend webinars, access resources, and information, network, and attend e-Symposiums that feature lived experience leaders and researchers.

Out From The Mist

MIFA is the backbone of Out From The Mist, an international photography, short film, and music competition that portrays representations of mental health.

MIFA works directly with the exhibition’s Creative Director to promote entries internationally, to deliver an Awards Night and an Annual Opening Exhibition during Mental Health Week each year.
