Brien Hallett

Brien Hallett is currently board President of the Mental Health Foundation (ACT). He has a long interest in the role that carers play in supporting family and friends on their journey to improved mental health. 

Now retired, Brien held various senior executive roles in the Australian Public Service, at Government House, and as a parliamentary officer in the Senate. 

Brien lives in a small rural community in the Monaro district south of Canberra and has been treasurer to the local volunteer fire brigade for the last decade.
