Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley

In November 2022, MIFA and its invited guests gathered at Government House for a welcome function of MIFA’s patron, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia.

The audience was treated to a song written by Mrs Hurley specifically for MIFA. Guests were then led by Mrs Hurley in joining together to sing “you are my sunshine”. An event that those in attendance will remember for some time!
