Ilyse Elphick

Ilyse joined the Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia (MIFA) in 2021, bringing over 20 years of experience in managing and supporting business operations. With expertise in Human Resources, financial management, and marketing, Ilyse excels at driving organisational success and maximising efficiency.

At MIFA, Ilyse’s multifaceted role enables her to engage with individuals with lived experience, collaborate with government stakeholders, and provide critical support to MIFA and its members.

A passionate advocate for the arts, particularly photography, Ilyse is deeply inspired by her involvement in Out From The Mist, an international photography, music, and short film competition. This initiative works to challenge the discrimination surrounding mental health conditions, offering participants a powerful platform to share their stories creatively.

At MIFA, Ilyse continues to leverage her skills and passion to make a meaningful impact, supporting the organisation’s mission and fostering a supportive community for all its members.
